Local News

There are 22 Catholic dioceses in England and Wales. Each diocese has its own website where you will find the the latest local news. Some sites have a separate section for news (or news and events). Others link to the main local headlines from the home page. In some cases, the news will be under the 'bishop' section and will include pastoral letters, homilies and other key documents

A selection of local stories can be found here but do please check the table of links below for the latest.

If you can't locate the latest from any of our dioceses, please contact the relevant Diocesan Communications Officer (DCO).

A number of dioceses have their own local print publications. Click here for a full list of diocesan newspapers.
