Catholic Education Service (CES)

We support more than 2,000 Catholic schools in England and Wales. Specifically our role is national policy – where the Church interacts on education with Government. So we won’t deal with individual schools, or their admission queries – for help with that you’ll need to contact the education officer in your local diocese. But we will collect national stats on our schools, offer them legal advice and help them implement a truly Catholic ethos. That includes fostering the Gospel values, such as forgiveness and peace, amongst pupils and staff. We also represent the Catholic Church’s education policy to the national media.
