Friends of the Holy Land

Welcome

Here you'll find more information about the Friends of the Holy Land - a charitable organisation established in 2009 in the UK to assist the Christian communities of the Holy Land.

We have details of the region's parishes and schools and information on our projects. Find out about the “Friends of the Holy Land Bursary” - a fund aiming to build up the necessary US$35,000 to provide the investment for a permanent bursary for a student to study at Bethlehem University. More on our bursaries page.

It's easy to support our work with a contribution via our donations page. Our “Widow’s Mite” Fund provides humanitarian aid to those in the Christian community who for reasons of disability, advancing years or perhaps lack of employment are experiencing great difficulties in meeting even their basic living needs.

Financial support is just one way of standing in solidarity with the Christians of the Holy Land. You can also set up a Friends of the Holy Land group in your parish or local area. Visit our setting up a Friends group page.

Finally, why not consider visiting the land of Christ's birth and ministry? Pilgrimages are a great way of showing your support to the Christian communiites of the Holy Land.

We'd also like to here from you. Find out how you can contact us.
