In today's two-part Middle East Analysis , we join our regular studio guest, Bishops' consultant Dr Harry Hagopian as we focus on the latest developments in the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region.
Dr Hagopian analyses the horrors of the Houla massacre in Syria, the discovery of 13 bodies - apparently executed - in the east of the country and UN/Arab League envoy Kofi Annan's recent meeting in Damascus with President Bashar al-Assad.
Is it even possible to discuss Kofi Annan's six-point plan as viable? Will we see an increase in the blue-beret observers in Syria in a last-ditch effort to stop the bloodletting? Should further sanctions be imposed by the international community?
Dr Harry Hagopian discusses these points and more.
