Ahead of his travels to the MENA region, Dr Harry Hagopian podcasts another Middle East Analysis.

We're looking at Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's recent speech, the prospect of constitutional reform in Jordan and Morocco and examine the issue of whether Palestinian statehood will be recognised by the United Nations.

Dr Hagopian is an international lawyer and consultant to the Catholic Bishops' Conference of England and Wales on the Middle East. He's also a former Assistant General Secretary of the Middle East Council of Churches and Executive Secretary of the Jerusalem Inter-Church Committee.
