Being an Inclusive Church…and not an exclusive club

This year Racial Justice Sunday on the 9 September 2012 is on the theme Being an Inclusive Church…and not an exclusive club. Racial Justice Sunday (RJS) 2012 explores what it means to be an Inclusive Church in a multi-ethnic society and the actions that each of us can take to promote it.

Each Church has a tremendous opportunity to evidence God’s Kingdom on earth by taking deliberate action to include members of Britain’s ethnic minority communities in its congregation.

Bishop Patrick Lynch, Archdiocese of Southwark and President of CARJ and Paul Anderson-Walsh the Chief Executive Officer of the Stephen Lawrence Trust have both contributed suggested homilies to the RJS resource pack.
