World Communications Day takes place this year on Sunday 12 May 2013, the Feast of the Ascension of our Lord. On this day, Catholics are asked to reflect on the necessity of fulfilling the command of Jesus to preach the Good News of the Gospel to the whole world.
The Catholic Communications Network, the media office of the Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales, seeks to be of service both to the Church and the world in offering professional channels of communication.
Below are resources to help inform parishioners of this crucial work and encourage them to support the work of CCN generously in the collection that will be taken on Sunday 12 May.
To the right of this page you can download our parish resources for the day. There's a printable postcard, newsletter text for parishes, a collection form and a cover letter from Archbishop Stack.
